The Canadian Society for Education through Art (CSEA)
The Canadian Society for Education through Art, a voluntary association founded in Quebec City in 1955, is the only Canadian national organization that brings together art educators, gallery educators and others with similar interests and concerns. Membership represents all levels of education: elementary, secondary, college/university, ministries of education, art galleries/museums, and community education. BCATA members receive a discounted membership rate, and dual members are eligible for awards.
National Art Education Association (NAEA)
Serving more than 20,000 active members, the National Art Education Association is the leading professional organization for art educators in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 as well as college and university professors and researchers, administrators, and museum educators.
The NAEA represents members in all fifty states plus the District of Columbia, U.S. Possessions, most Canadian Provinces, U.S. military bases around the world, and twenty-five foreign countries. The BCATA president serves as a delegate to the NAEA, and dual members are eligible for awards.
